Adventuridge folding wash basin review

June 9, 2017

A folding wash basin is a great way to save space when packing for a camping trip. I do think a washing up bowl is really handy so didn't want to go without one. All those dirty dishes around the bbq need to be transported to the nearest tap/ washing up area at the campsite to get cleaned up.

This 7 litre basin by Adventuridge from Aldi neatly just squashes down easily by pressing down on the rim, with one fold running around the inside. Here it is when folded, compared with our old bowl on the right.

So, its clearly smaller when folded, but what about capacity?

We found it was perfectly big enough for our family of four and were delighted with the price (£4.99). The bowl feels sturdy and durable with a wide brim which made it easy for the smallest of hands carry.

Pros: Compact, durable, effective and cheap.

Cons: Aldi's products vary from week to week so this isn't available all the time. You'd need to keep an eye out and grab one if you get the chance.

Price: £4.99
